just good poems is a brand new literary publication focused on publishing poetry of all shapes and sizes. many publications focus on an esoteric branch of the literary community, but not us: we want your crazy 4am thoughts in free verse, we want the haiku inspired by the wacky dream you had, or the villanelle about that weird tradition with your grandparents that even you don't fully understand. we want heartfelt, we want horror, we want anything you're passionate about. chances are, we'll be passionate about it too.
due to the fact that this publication is brand new, we are quite limited on resources. for the near future, poems will be published in an online format only, and financial compensation is unable to be provided to the authors of the works we publish. eventually, we would love to change that. as well, we will be publishing poems as they reach our inbox with the goal of eventually formulating them into weekly or monthly editions. we have absolutely no bias towards any writers in the literary community, whether you are an award-winning poet or have never been published. all we're looking for is poetry that is just good. we are so glad you're here.
